“Across the country, this is the agenda I have set before my fellow prisoners and the same standards of clarity and candor must now be applied to my opponent,” said McCain, who often speaks about his time as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. His prepared remarks said “fellow citizens,” not “fellow prisoners.” Quote from McCain’s speech in Bethlehem, PA on October 8, 2008
Is this a Freudian slip by McCain? A “verbal mistake that reveals an unconscious belief, thought, or emotion”? Are we all fellow prisoners of a corrupt system?
In the horary chart I did on September 26th (Will McCain Win the Presidency?) I noted that, according to horary rules Venus would advance 11 days (11 degrees) to sextile (favorably) Jupiter on October 7th, at the time of the second debate. I failed to notice the Sun would also move 11 degrees to square (unfavorable in horary) Jupiter on that day.
McCain said in the debate on October 7th that he would confront the massive federal debt and would balance the annual federal budget by the end of his term in office. Venus sextile Jupiter certainly indicates his intention but will the Sun square Jupiter allow him to do so?
On October 9th, two days later, the Sun in the horary chart has advanced two more degrees to trine (favorable) Chiron conjunct the North Node in Aquarius, which is the wound of the visionary, with the Sun as a healing transit. Chiron conjunct the North Node means he is still continuing to move toward his vision for the country, despite the wounds we have received along the way.
Also, as mentioned in a previous post, his natal Chiron in Gemini sextiles the United States’ Chiron in Aries, and is conjunct the country’s Mars in Gemini. Each is being transited favorably by Chiron and the North Node, bringing new visionary energy for a call to action, to deal with the current crisis. Remember that to work on healing, we must first identify the wound, which is what we’ve been doing. It doesn’t mean more wounding won’t yet be uncovered, but that we have to drain the built-up poison that has already polluted the system in order to bring about healing and a brighter future.
The North Node in Aquarius will be traveling with Chiron for several months, reflecting collective awareness of a compassionate nature, which will work to pull our country through this crisis with renewed purpose.
At the time of the final debate on October 15th, the Sun in the horary chart will have advanced to conjunct the horary Mercury, which, though retrograde, will go direct that same day, prior to the debate. At the same time the Sun will be trine the horary Neptune. I believe John McCain will lay out achievable goals for the nation with his visionary gifts conjunct the nation’s Mars, the planet of action.

STORIES OF A KENTUCKY MOUNTAIN FAMILY
The last presidential debates are always the debates that catches the heart and minds of voters before the elections. I predict McCain will set the stage for a unforgetable line that will bring him victory on November 4. Remember that during the now famous Carter-Reagan debate, Reagan had a phrase that no one thought it was important. Pollters still had Carter winning by 2 points after that debate. But McCain, who is almost as old as Reagan was, has the tendency to say phrases that catches the hearts of the people. He has that candor that Obama don’t have. McCain will be seen as a father while Obama will be seen as the impatient son who wants out of the house with the money for the “big city”.
McCain will be seen as a real leader, experienced, proven, known, trustworthy, honorable, patriot and visionary.
While Obama will be seen as ideologist, extremist, uknown, provocative, impatient…arrogant…unAmerican.
Most of undecided Americans voters will make their decision that night while millions others will do it at election day. Polls will still have Obama leading of course and democrats and some unfaithful republicans will be saying McCain is done. But remember that the same happened 28 years ago and 28 years before that.
McCain has a big advantage, he has the humor, communications skills, likebility and common people’s persona of Reagan on his side(Sarah Palin).
John McCain will surge as the surprise winner of the United States presidency by 11:34 PM November 4, 2008!
Carmelo, I agree with your prediction, but how did you arrive at 11:34pm time?
Since we haven’t heard from Carmelo yet, I thought I’d jump in. A transit chart drawn for ll:34 pm EST in Washington DC on November 4th would place 8 Taurus 38 on the MC applying within less than a degree to McCain’s natal Uranus (the surprise). Since McCain’s Uranus also makes a favorable trine to his natal Sun this could be the time when he “surges as the surprise winner of the United States presidency” as Carmelo states.
Interestingly, at the last debate on October 15th, the MC of Obama’s daily chart will conjunct McCain’s natal Uranus on the MC of Obama’s daily chart and when the debate begins (and ends!) the transiting Moon will be on McCain’s natal and progressed Uranus opposing transiting Mars at 8 Scorpio, which is exactly on Obama’s natal Neptune on the 4th (of his daily chart – assuming his birth time is right of course, at 7:24 pm AHT- the time was adjusted for the place of the debate, as was McCain’s) Other aspects are involved but I believe whatever transpires during the debate will be significant for Election Day.
11:34 PM is the exact time I predict the victory speech is given(OR FINISHED) with a unification message on the part of the winner(John McCain). 11:34 BUT AM is the time when unfortunatelly a bad surprise will shake his presidency….and the world.
Food for thoughts: In a recent survey conducted by Gallup, Americans are rejecting senator Obama’s economic proposal of “distribution of wealth” and raising taxes by 83% to 13%. This is more than a 3 to 1 ratio. On January 17 of this year, reknowned psychic Elizabeth Joyce predicted that a “male presidential candidate with a female running mate will win the elections by a landslice..” This psychic stated that this female vice president was not Hillary Clinton.
Will this socialist approach to the economy by Obama and the sudden media attention to “Joe the Plumber’s” questions about taxes the expected “october surprise” that will decide the elections on november 4?
I would have predicted that the one who runs an honest campaign(John McCain) would win. But, since the one with the more millions in “donations”, with a great “organization” across the battleground states(ACORN) and the one who owes his win to the media would come victorious. Even though not a landslide, Obama’s victory was huge. Not a mandate but it was sure a call for “change”. Now it is Obama’s turn to transform talk and speeches into action. Now president Bush is not in the map of blames, it is president Obama and a democratic Congress who will have to deliver for those 63 millions that voted for them. They have exactly 24 months to make things happen, at least fulfill 1/3 of their promises. It will be no excuses not to do so.
Did America vote for the right person for the job, that is something time will tell. The stars might be saying it already: One Term; One Time; One thought; One laugh; One Tear; One Dream; One Victory; One Fall… For now, enjoy the historic moment that might be overshadowed for a most historic moment in just 4 years from now.
Fasten your seat belts because this ride will take us to 2012 with many bad and horrible news on its way!
Thanks so much for your input. It’s great to experience a meeting of minds. We know the years ahead are going to be tough regardless of who is president of our country. But, to me, the way the election was “won” signals a hostile takeover, in stark contradiction to the American way. While I fear the consequences I also realize that, as you said, the American people have been persuaded to give Obama the chance to prove he is “the one”. At least for now. May God bless America.
